Description
M448 ANJ was sold by Caffyns of Ramsgate to its first owner and registered 1st August 1994. The car is a rare Mini 35 SE model that was built to commemorate the 35 years of Mini production. 1000 were built and only 130 are left on the road. The 35 was based on a Mini Sprite so came with the 1275cc engine with a four speed manual gearbox. This one came in Diamond White with the special Jamboree interior, glass sunroof and optional alloy wheels. The last of only 4 owners has had the car for 13 years during which time it was restored to a high standard with some pictures of the restoration in the history file. The paintwork is in excellent condition and the car car sits on a refurbished set of black alloy wheels (I think the originals where silver?) shod in a good set of 165/ 60R/ 12 tyres with plenty of tread. Also on the outside there is a locking petrol cap, 2 door mirrors and an aerial on the wing. Inside the car is also in excellent condition with 4 seat belts, original book pack, original sales brochure and the original Rover stereo radio cassette player. 2 sets of keys. The underside is in great condition as is the boot area and engine bay. The history file shows it has had a new alternator, new bumpers, Tyres, Wheel bearings, wheel cylinders, exhaust etc. The old MOT's also prove that the mileage is correct at only 42, 200. It has an MOT with no advisories till 11th May 2026. This rare little Mini drives really well and has a good turn of speed from the 1275 engine. The 4 speed gearbox is smooth and easy to use and overall the car does exactly what it should. Everything works so ready to go!
