For sale is my beautiful 1973 Ford Escort Mk1 in Sunset Red.
I have owned this car since early 2021, the base car was a 1100L with a very solid shell. Over the last few years the car has been completely transformed into a Mexico Plus specification and been improved in every way. This truly is a usable classic which is ready to go straight out into show season or into your garage to be admired. The car has wanted for nothing and an insane amount of time and money has been put into making this car truly special. It drives very well and is mechanically very sound, this car has done around 1500 miles on the current setup, including a roadtrip around France - without any issues.
This car was supposed to be a keeper, but the arrival of a new big wing Mexico means this car has to be sold. This is otherwise a very reluctant sale of an excellent Mk1 Escort, and the cost of parts and labour to get this specification is in excess of £20k. The car was recently re-tuned and serviced and is ready for the next owner.
