Rare 1959 Mercedes Benz 220SE Coupe in Right Hand Drive W128
An original RHD, understood to have been less than 40 build in RHD (about ~800 coupes in total)
Second owner car, our father bought it in 1979 in Milan at Ferrari dealer Crepaldi, who sold it for a wealthy Italian 1st owner. Documentation and pictures available to support this.
Solid car, which has been stored most of its life. 1st owner had the fenders modified at some point (not un-typical in Italy in those days, to make it look more like the successor/ modern W111)
Straight 6 cylinder engine with aluminum head, overhead camshaft, and Bosch mechanical fuel injection
4-speed manual gearbox (column gear shift)
Beautiful interior with rare original bench seat.
Very little to no rust, needs TLC, paint is soso, Have driven about 500 miles in the last 2-3 years without any problems after a small service (brakes, plugs, etc), believe it could do with a major service
Car has Dutch registration, located in The Netherlands
