Drives very well, cool retro daily, looks almost like an s15 if you really squint and are deluded enough. Fairly economical to run will achieve 50+ mpg on a run
Bought recently as I couldnt find a decent 306 HDI but of course I have now found one and to be honest it suits my needs better.
So unfortunately this must make way.
Recently serviced (oil, filters, aux belt and tensioner) with lots of work completed in the past few years including:
- New clutch with Valeo solid flywheel
- Wheel bearings
- Genuine NOS brembo break discs, the 4 pots are notorious for squeaking which these dont with the proper discs
- Rear break back plates, these can affect the handbrake efficiency
- Fresh Sachs front dampers with new springs and mounts
- New catalytic converter in past couple of years
- 4 matching Falken tyres with good tread
The car also benefits from a DPF delete and remap. Unsure on figures but is definitely far more keen than its 135hp standard, previous owner said c. 180ish but Ive no proof of this.
Very well specced; red leather interior, heated electric memory seats, cruise control, sunroof, split folding rear seats, 6cd changer and factory tow bar.
2 main faults are an annoying rattle from the forward most exhaust heat shield (easily fixed but I havent had the time recently). The ABS light also comes on above 15-20mph, needs properly investigating but doesnt come on from start up so wouldnt affect MOT.
Flaws to bodywork throughout commensurate with age and mileage, mainly lacquer peel to the rear OS quarter and a crack to the rear bumper
