Welcome to the sale of my 2003 Mini Cooper R50.
Great condition for the age and mileage, although by no means concourse. There is the expected light scattering of stone chips on the bonnet which have been touched in and some minor marks on the bumper which also have also been touched in, but you wouldn't know unless you go looking for them. At 10 feet the car looks excellent.
The interior is also in very good condition as per the photos. Original Radio/ CD player works perfectly and speakers sound good. Panoramic roof is fully functional and really makes the interior a very pleasant place to be!
Mechanically, the car is excellent. The engine is sweet, clutch is good and it is very easy to drive
I purchased the car in December last year. I bought it as most of the journeys I was making at the time were local/ urban trips (which were not entirely suited to my diesel land rover!) so I desired something smaller.
It required some work when I bought it so in January this year I carried out the following work:
New O/ S Driveshaft
New O/ S Strut top bearing
New O/ S/ F Spring
New O/ S/ F & N/ S/ F Wheel bearings
Renewed Coolant, Engine oil & Gearbox oil
New wiper blades
New rear wiper arm & blade
Tracking
In addition to this, in March I also renewed the Auxiliary belt & Auxiliary belt tensioner and replaced the rear wiper motor. (Surprisingly difficult to come across for a pre-facelift R50!)
Since carrying out the above work at the beginning of the year the car has been completely faultless over the 3, 000 miles I have covered since and it is a joy to drive.
Previous to my ownership the car had been well looked after with the following being some of the highlights from the history file:

2023 / 111, 000 miles: New front suspension bushings & track rod ends + Full new exhaust
2019 / 95, 000 miles: New screen wash pump
2018 / 90, 000 miles: New Clutch + gear linkage

and as mentioned previously I gave the car an oil service in Jan '25 at ~113, 000 miles. Spark plugs and air filter were most recently replaced in the 2022 / 107, 000 mile service so I didn't feel the need to replace them.
Reason for sale is simply due to a lack of space and too many cars, something had to go.
