Overview:
This is the top specification 5. 0 V8 R107 model. Pre-face lift, it retains the Mercedes quality with stainless door handles, rear seats and black leather heated front seats and has the optional ABS.
Exterior:
The paintwork is beautiful, almost perfect and in much better condition than most I see. The unusual, but original two-tone combination of Astral Silver over graphite gives it a sleek appearance. The chrome and stainless brightwork is all in excellent condition.
Excellent fabric hood with new windows, so no scratches or yellow plastic to spoil the experience.
Interior:
The black leather has a patina, but no wear marks. Wood veneer dash is in excellent condition. All original except for the pioneer radio cassette.
Mechanicals:
Serviced in 2024 by SL specialist Roger Edwards. Never let me down and demonstrated by a recent trouble-free 300-mile journey. Everything works.
Unused original spare wheel and tyre. History:
The vehicle has an extensive history file with original stamped service book, manual and receipts dating back over 25 years. Dry use only and garaged for the past 12 years.
