Description
For sale my Aston Martin Virage Volante or AMV4S as I affectionately refer to her, finished in salisbuty blue with beige leather and navy blue hood.
She is complete, owners manual, service book, complete tool kit and space saver spare wheel. Hood cover.
The private transferable reg AMV4S is included and holds significant value.
She had a box file of invoices and service history.
She's been my 2025 project after buying her running poorly having been stored for a number of years, she's now running very well after a lot of recommissioning and new parts.
Since I have had her she has had the plenum removed and all vacuum pipes underneath replaced (notorious and labour intensive)
Fuel system removed, both tanks cleaned and lines replaced where necessary.
Fuel injectors ultrasonic cleaned and tested along with new seals my Mr Injector (highly recommended)
New superceded fuel pump and fuel filter.
New fuel pressure regulator.
I also modified the surge tank venting (another common problem) works perfectly.
Both distributor caps (furiously expensive)
Spark plugs.
Genuine air filters, oil and filter.
Brakes dissembled, lubricated and fluid replaced.
Cooling system flushed, new thermostat and coolant.
Plus others I'm sure to have missed.
She's now looking for her new owner to use and improve her, she's obviously not perfect at this price point but is now mechanically strong, she presents very well and is admired everywhere. The hood is in very good condition.
She could use some isolated paint repairs, recolonising the leather and the onboard computer is not working.
It was intermittent but has since stopped service completely.
Last recorded miles at MOT was 39k and the service history would seem to back this up along with her long period being sorn and in storage.
Overall she's an awesome machine, she glides down the road, with little effort and expenditure can easily be pushed up a level or two.
