Description
1990 Mini Cooper RSP (Rover Special Products).
One of the limited edition cars to test the market with a 1275 engine, white roof, bonnet stripes and other trim features before introduction of the 'Mainstream' Cooper.
Re-bodied into a new British Motor Heritage bodyshell in 2004, painted in the original Flame Red & White, and thoroughly corrosion protected. Since then the car has passed between 3 owners, all keeping it garaged and using sparingly.
In current ownership for 10+ years. The engine & gearbox was refreshed in 2016 - see invoice from The Real Mini Company. Participated in the London To Brighton Mini Run in 2023.
Indictated mileage is 95, 000 which the MOT history backs up. The vast majority of this was before the body and mechanical refresh. There are some personal touches that the new owner could easily reverse to return the car to standard if desired: Wooden dashboard; Battery isolator in boot; Wing Mirror indicator repeaters; Drivers seat extender bracket .
Serviced and fresh MOT end August 2025.
