Description
The history of large, four-seater Mercedes convertibles is long and almost uninterrupted.
But both the 1970s and 1980s marked a void in this regard.
While the SL series models of those years were available in versions with rear seats, it felt as if they weren't designed for four passengers.
Mercedes returned to this concept with the iconic W124 series, where, with the rebranding to the "E-Class," it created a fully four-seater convertible focused on the maximum passenger comfort available at the time.
This was achieved not only through the materials used but also through the suspension characteristics, while the 200-horsepower inline-six Mercedes engine provides enough power for efficient movement.
What do the numbers say about our Mercedes?

Our vehicle comes from the American market.
It was paired with a smooth-running four-speed 4G-Tronic automatic transmission.
It recently underwent a thorough inspection, during which the following were repaired:
– electric headrests
– driver's seat adjustment system
– roof lift actuator
The roof lift/ lower system itself works perfectly and without the slightest hesitation.
The same applies to the tightness of the upholstery.
Even during heavy rainfall, there are no leaks into the interior, which remains fully functional and in good condition, commensurate with the low mileage.
The only drawbacks are a slightly cracked wooden panel near the gear shift and the missing one of the driver's seat adjustment buttons.
The leather upholstery is free of any holes or tears.
The radio and air conditioning are also fully functional.
The bodywork is in well condition, reflecting the interior.
Only the left front wheel arch (where the bumper meets the fender) shows a slight trace of corrosion.
The engine runs smoothly on all cylinders, with no leaks.
