Description
I'm currently debating selling my second Daelim B-Bone (sn125) as I can't ride two bikes.
DAELIM are a Korean manufacturer owned by the Kia/ Hyundai group and sold officially in the UK up until a few years ago and are well built and highly reliable.
The B-Bone (bare bone) is a trellis scooter which clearly took inspiration from the honda zoomer/ ruckus and uses a modern fuel injected 125 single cylinder paired to a cvt gearbox.
There aren't many of these unique bikes left now and only 11 were on the road this year and less than 100 were registered in the UK.
This is my third one now and I spent 14mths trying to find this bike , but unfortunately it was in a bit of a sad state when I got it and I've spent a few months getting it back into decent condition.
Some of the work done :
Frame stripped and powdercoated red (slightly darker than OEM, but not far off)
New aluminium crankcase cover
Crankcase drive seals
Crankcase gasket
Exhaust with new header and both gaskets
new bar ends
new headlight
new front and rear indicators
new bolts, nuts etc for everything removed.
new tyres (front and rear)
new number plate
revised swing arm
Oil flushed and changed twice
Oil filter & strainer
Gear box oil
brake fluid
air filter
YUASA battery
underneath has been cleaned, painted and rust proof coated
replaced upper rear plastics
replaced some of the chrome caps
It also comes with the B-Bone oil cooler cover, optional headlight surround and can include the under seat storage kit (which i never put back on as i prefer the look without)
A lot of time and money has been spent and happy to have a long chat with anyone interested.
I can go through all the good and bad.
Long MOT. Everything works.. starts on the button.
