2015 Land Rover Defender 110 Camper Conversion

This is our incredible 2015 Defender 100 Camper conversion. With only 38k miles on the clock, this is a high spec Defender fitted out with a high spec camper conversion. It’s been featured in a number of photoshoots and turns heads wherever it goes.

The Defender has a full service history, and has just had its 36k mile service done. It was originally Waxoyled by the Main dealer, and then it had a Dinitrol treatment professionally applied in 2023.

Inside it has a full black interior with heated seats, electric windows, JVC car play stereo, reversing camera and full air con.

The camper conversion has everything you need to go overloading in style:

On the roof is a Flat Dog full length aluminium rack, and then on that is a top of the range iKamper Skycamp 3. 0 roof tent with the upgraded Rocky Black shell, alongside two IP67 100L roof storage boxes.

Included with the iKamper roof tent is the standard awning and extended annex for full shelter from the weather. Side mounted on the rack is an iKamper 270 Exoshell awning.

In the back of the Defender is a full custom camper fit out with a Dometic CFX3 35 pull out fridge, running from a 100Ah Lithium-Ion leisure battery, charged by a Victron smart charger. Included is a high spec Dock Outdoors camp kitchen and a Front Runner Pro Stainless Steel Camp table.

On the outside the Defender is fitted with Continental Cross Contact All Terrain tyres, Explore glazing gull wing windows on both sides, and a Nakatanenga heritage style front grille.

Condition:
The paintwork has a few stone chips in, but is in generally very good condition, and there's no damage to any of the glass. The upholstery is all in very good condition, and there's plenty of wear left in the tyres. The front brake pads and discs were replaced this year, as was the front passenger seat belt that had started fraying. We’re going to really miss this Land Rover, it’s been our pride and joy for the last few years. However we’ve got a growing business that needs the capital, and so we’re only selling this one on the condition that we’ll buy ourselves a replacement in a few years time.

Here’s the truth - everyone should own a Defender at least once in their life. It’s one of those rare vehicles that becomes part of your story. Years later, you’ll still remember the trips you did in it, the places you slept and the people you met on the road (and you’ll meet a lot of people because everyone wants to come chat about this Defender).

This one doesn’t just look great, it’s a fully fitted camper too. For less money than you’d spend on a fairly generic VW build, you can have an icon, a vehicle that carries with it decades of heritage, timeless design, and the sort of character that simply can’t be faked.

Owning one changes the way you think about travel. It’s about waking up in the Highlands, watching the mist over the hills, or pulling up next to a beautiful beach with everything you need loaded up (check out OffGridCamp. co. uk for some amazing camping locations).

Plus it looks equally at home outside a country pub as it does halfway up a mountain pass. The squared-off lines, the upright driving position, the mechanical honesty all adds up to something that feels both purposeful and effortlessly cool. Park it next to a sea of white panel vans with pop-tops, and you’ll see instantly why the Defender is in a league of its own.

Every drive feels like the start of something. Even the short runs to the shops carry a sense of occasion. And when you point it at the horizon, with the tent loaded up and the fridge stocked, it’s a reminder that life is meant to be lived outdoors, not just sat in traffic.

So if you’ve been weighing up whether to buy another van like everyone else, or to do something different, here’s your answer. A Defender camper gives you everything you need; comfort, practicality, reliability, but with an extra dose of magic that money can’t usually buy.
