Featured in Episode 4 of Guy Martins 'Guys Garage' which was filmed at Brands Hatch.
Previous to the filming this Trabant was tuned on Guys rolling road where the original mikuni carburettor was upgraded to the single SU by Guys tech & close friend Paul the Carb!
Since its been in my ownership I've taken it to many shows, where it is like a magnet to people, but the time has come for it to move on, and I'm sure it will be thoroughly enjoyed.
There's bound to be a lot of questions, so please pm them and I'll post both Q&As in this listing. The chap who originally built it is more than happy to be contacted by the new owner, and he knows every last nut & bolt.

Originally imported into the UK by Practical Classics Technical Editor Sam Glover who determined it most likely was one of the potential race/ rally rolling chassis/ body as it had come with the thicker uprated drive shafts, hub & drive.
