Description
Buell XB9S Lightning. A wonderful example of an honest, unmolested Buell. The only modification is a Warr's racing kit installed for better breathability and performance. For those who don't know Warrs produced some of the best aftermarket parts for Harleys and Buell's.
Purchased from Carl Harrison motorcycles in mid 2023. However, now time for someone else to enjoy as I have a project I need the funds for. There is not a stamped service history booklet as such as like most bikers the previous owner did all the work himself, with all the paperwork included, he owned from 2007.

- New Vertex battery Aug 2023,
- Warrs racing kit purchased and installed by Warrs with paperwork,
- Stacks of paperwork including owners manual, previous invoices and numerous past MOT certs. All showing the bike has not wanted for much throughout it's life,
- 2 OEM keys, (will include the nice leather Buell keyring!)
- MOT expires, 19/ 03/ 2026 - passed last one with no advisories,
- Recently serviced with Harley spec oils (and primary), new NGK plugs and filter, and full clutch adjustment,
- Super rare full manufacturers manual that I purchased from the US recently for almost £100 will be included,
- Even rarer Buell tool kit as supplied under the seat (pictured),
Issues:
- Neutral light doesn't always illuminate when in neutral,
- Some surface rust and surface corrosion on the forward exposed parts,
It's a tough little bike, sounds great, pulls great, runs great and gets commented on all the time. It's a noisy push rod engine, folks think it's a Harley until you pull in and they all want to talk to you about it. Don't consider buying a Buell if you want refinement and like being inconspicuous.
Definitely one the most affordable XB9S's, if not Buell's, on the market today, and certainly not indicative of the condition, it's been well maintained. Get ready for Summer!
