New Blaupunkt Frankfurt period looking DAB radio with phone connectivity. It's hard to believe that this car is 29 years old, as it looks and drives as though its half its age. At a recent service, the BMW specialist commented that the underside is in better condition than a lot of 10 year old cars that they have worked on.
The car drives smoothly and beautifully with a lovely exhaust note as you would expect from a BMW 6 cylinder engine. The only modification I have made to the car is the fitting of a strut brace, ( I just like them) apart from that the car is totally standard in every way.
The brace can easily be removed.
The engine revs smoothly and the auto box changes perfectly in normal or sport modes. The car is a cruiser and is completely comfortable on long trips, as the new suspension just soaks up the bumps and pot holes on todays awful roads, it really is a perfect modern classic.
The paintwork is in excellent condition, there are no nasty stone chips or swirl scratches as I recently had the car fully detailed and polished.
All of the upholstery is in excellent order, and the drivers seat shows no signs of wear. All of the door cards are equally in good order.
The car has four electric windows.
The car also has a period looking Blaupunkt DAB radio fitted which will also allow phone calls, thus making the car easy to live with on a daily basis. This was professionally fitted at a cost of £500.
All of the tyres are virtually brand new, and with the new brakes and pads, the car turns, grips and stops as it should.
I must stress that this is a UK car and has not been imported, and I am only selling it to fund my business.
