Description
The bike was built by Pete Hudson of Side Rock Cycles, Bournemouth. The website has more photos of the bike nicknamed 'Classic Cafe'. Scroll down through the bikes he's built and you'll find it. The majority of his builds are 'Airheads'. He has a road racing background to a national level and various club championships to his name, plus years of competition Enduro and trials experience. Pete knows how a bike should work.
This experience reflects in the design and build of this bike. I bought this bike when I was cooped up in a ships cabin out in the Arctic and just had to have it. The way it looks and sounds ( its kinda loud), and is admired by onlookers always make me proud to be its owner. I shall miss it when it's gone.
The honest reason why I'm selling it is because I'm now 66 which is no problem, but I've had two new knees fittted and because of that, I'm just not enjoying long rides anymore. These once flexible legs with their metal and plastic knees just dont like bending that far on the pegs!
