Made by the Franklin automobile company of syracuse New York USA.
Fitted with the original six-cylinder inline 3. 5 litre air cooled engine, fitted with three-speed manual non-synchro gearbox.
Mot-exempt and free road tax as classed as historic vehicle.
This Fully-restored Franklin 11A was manufactured at the height of the marque’s popularity. Powered by a six-cylinder inline air-cooled engine, it boasts a lively performance that makes it a highly practical drive even in modern traffic. It’s also beautifully engineered and built for reliability, making it a very practical pre-war classic to own.
The styling is pure pre-war, with an extra touch of refinement thanks to J. Frank De Causse, its celebrated New York designer who had previously worked for Rolls Royce. Franklin also had their share of celebrity owners, notably Charles Lindburgh, the famous aviator who made the first non-stop flight from New York to Paris, just a year before this car was built.
A fully restored beautiful pre-war classic that is ready to go, part exchange welcome cash up or down, interested in wedding cars, Beauford, Rolls Royce, Bentley continental or something interesting. Beautiful fully restored pre-war classic in excellent condition throughout.
