This 1973 Maserati Merak is offered for sale from my private collection, where it has been in my ownership for the past 20 years. I thoroughly enjoyed driving it for the first 8 years, after which I embarked on an extensive, no-expense-spared restoration that spanned 11 years and cost many tens of thousands of pounds.
The result is a fully documented, nut-and-bolt restoration, including a bare-metal respray in its original silver colour. All areas of rust were professionally removed and replaced with new metal. Both the body and undercarriage were comprehensively rust-treated and protected to ensure long-term preservation.
The interior has been retrimmed in period-correct blue velour textile, matching the original build sheet, and complemented with black carpets and Maserati-insignia overmats.

A Certificate of Origin from the Maserati Archive in Modena confirms this Merak’s factory build specifications and verifies that it left the Maserati S. p. A. factory in November 1973.
