Ideally would like to sell before winter sets in to release garage space for another of my MGs. Therefore I’m willing to consider ‘sensible’ offers.
This beautiful limited edition MGF 75th anniversary (#1282) is presented for sale with 72k miles and in fantastic original condition with only a few very minor paint blemishes as to be expected from an original 26 yo car.
The interior is in very good condition and the underside is faultless (and original) having never been subjected to any repairs and never having fallen foul of any corrosion as evidenced by its online MOT history.
The car has been the subject of 3 recent independent (underside) inspections during both a change of suspension spheres and re-gas, its latest MoT and when having the stainless coolant pipes fitted. All inspections confirmed it to be in excellent original order.
The new spheres were fitted earlier this year by Ian and Dawn Kennedy (if you know, you know!) who were very complimentary of the original, underside and overall condition of the car.
The car was subjected to a recorded pressure test during its MoT and has now had its all important cambelts changed along with replacement stainless steel coolant pipes (precautionary only as a known weak point) and replacement wheel bearing (per MoT advisory). I’ve also had the aux belt replaced. All works are invoiced.
This car is in absolutely excellent overall condition and the recent works will ensure that it’s at its very best for the next owner with no risk of unexpected running costs.

The previous owner owned this car for 16 years and kept it dry stored throughout this period - hence its excellent condition. .
I have spared no costs on this car having spent over £2000 this year on the works described above and whilst not concourse it is absolutely show worthy.
It really is a great little car that’s ready to be driven, enjoyed and shown (if that’s your thing).
By way of background - The 75th anniversary is a limited run of 2000 cars. The UK only received 492 of this model and only 237 were in black, paint code PAK. This specific car is 1282 out of 2000.
