Description
Arlen Ness 1969 Digger
This bike has been built up over a number of years using original hard to find Arlen Ness parts. It essentially a ‘New’ digger using all original parts.
The frame is a 1960s cast frame with a genuine chromoly Arlen Ness Hardhead section welded on.
The forks are Ultra rare Arlen Ness narrow springers ( before Ness production forks were made by Century)
Ultra rare prism tank with rocker cut outs made for Arlen Ness by Bon Munroe ( this is not the standard production Diamond tank available in the old Ness catalogues)
1969 XLCH engine fully rebuilt by Phil Piper from Chopper Shack.
Magneto.
Kick start only.
Genuine Arlen Ness Fibreglass Tail Light fender.
One off handlebars.
One off exhaust system.
Shortened rear fender rails.
One off chrome struts.
Spool hub chrome 21” front wheel.
16” chrome rear wheel.
Paint and Gold leaf by Dave Addis.
Everything on this bike is exactly how it would have been on the Arlen Ness diggers of the 1970’s and 80’s.
The bike does run and ride but as it was built as a show bike it does not come with any paperwork. I’m sure the more imaginative type could work out a way to get it registered or you could put it on a shelf and look at it. It’s a very pretty thing to look at.
