Description
1991 Nissan Micra K10 — 4-speed Manual, 106k, Family Owned
Now with MOT till November 2026
Lovely old Micra, manual 4-speed, owned by my family from new (mum then me). Properly looked after throughout its life—comes with a big file of receipts covering all major jobs and lots of regular upkeep.
Recent work & history:
Brand new timing belt and water pump fitted Oct 2023 (£600)
Clutch assemblies replaced in both 2013 and 2016
Lots of professional welding over the years, most recently in 2022 (£350)
Heater matrix needs replacing (diagnosed by garage, temp repair done in Nov 2024, £521 spent)—all other parts of the heating system checked and intact, but the car currently has no working heater
New battery (2022) and regular brake, shock, and exhaust replacements
All sorts of little jobs sorted: gear linkage, electrical, lock repairs, coolant flushes, and more
Full service and MOT history, all old paperwork present
Drives well and MOT’d until Nov 2026.
Manual gearbox and original 998cc engine—starts first time. This is the model everyone wants: no faffing with the autos, just proper, simple motoring.
Honest bits:
Paint is tired—lacquer peel, flat finish, would need a full respray to look smart
Age-related dents and cosmetic rust (mainly non-structural), but the car is structurally strong thanks to ongoing welding
The only major present fault: heater matrix is missing and needs fitting/ replacement—part can be sourced for around £200 plus labour
Interior is clean, everything works except for the heater as mentioned. Not a show winner, but it’s very solid—the kind of old Micra you can actually use or improve at your own pace.
Rare to find with fully documented service/ repair record, two owners, and proven maintenance. Great starter classic, sensible project, or just run and enjoy. Will be sold with all docs, V5 present, two sets of keys.
Viewing welcome. Sensible, no-nonsense buyers only—price reflects its genuine condition and history. Cash or transfer on collection.
Happy to show the repair folder or send extra photos if needed—just ask.
