This car was imported around 30 years ago as a completely rust-free vehicle, although it had suffered its fair share of California’s intense sun. So, the starting point was excellent — rust-free but sun-damaged.
The car was brought to Denmark, where a collector carried out a high-quality restoration over an extended period. No expenses were spared, and many top professionals were involved. For example, the entire interior and trunk upholstery were done by CH Trimshop in Bodafors, and all chrome has been re-chromed by a highly skilled Swedish company.
Anyone who has ever been involved in a Cadillac restoration knows — when everything needs to be restored and brought back to original condition, the costs are never-ending. That’s why buying a finished car is always a bargain.
This particular car had a huge amount of time, work, and money invested in it by the Danish man who intended to keep it. However, illness got in the way, and the car ended up standing unused for several years before it was eventually sold to Sweden. Since then, it has been used very sparingly and carefully stored in between.
We believe this is one of the finer 1957 Cadillacs in Sweden today.
An incredibly elegant vehicle — you don’t see many like this around.
The price is SEK 395, 000, which at the time of writing corresponds to approximately €36, 000.
