Description
The car was recommissioned around 2020 / 2022 by a gentleman who purchased it from eBay barn finds. I believe that once finished he found the cars performance and driving characteristics did not match his expectations. We purchased it in March 2023 having briefly owned an identical car in 1979 but which had to go as we were expecting our first child and it was virtually impossible to get a carrycot onto the back seat safely without tipping it sideways.
The car retains the original seats, Les Leston steering wheel and Bakelite gear knob, but now has a 1256cc engine from a Herald 13/ 60 and gearbox with D type overdrive.
Finished in Old English White with alloy wheels the car is in very presentable condition and a MOT until May 2026.
