Extensively restored and in excellent condition. Not sure the mileage is genuine but the engine is in standard spec. Bike was completely dismantled except for gearbox and final drive. Electrics, front fork, shock absorbers, bearings, brakes, exhaust, clutch completely new. Powder coated frame and wheels, cylinder heads overhauled with new guides, valves, seats, springs. Uprated hi torque camshaft, new tappets. Carbs overhauled and converted to use with trumpets or pod filters. All cables and hoses new.
Presently fitted with Mistral stainless dampers but originals available.
Paintwork new in original colours. Typical 80s Guzzi: fast, roary, red and rock solid, steady and not for the fainthearted or the feeble-handed.
I bought it mainly to convert to a cafe racer but then thought better of it and restored it. There aren’t that many of them around anymore and it seemed a pity to butcher it. It is probably the best of all Le Mans models.
