Description
2004 Audi TT 3. 2 V6 DSG Quattro. 95, 397 miles.
The Audi TT mk1 was once a very common sight on our roads, and for good reason. They offered good looks, and an involving driving experience. Couple this with Audi’s reputation for excellent build quality and it made for an ideal combination. Fast forward 20 years or so, and they are now becoming somewhat scarce, especially the sought after 3. 2 V6 version. Tipped to be a future modern classic, is now the time to find and buy one before prices begin to rise?
This totally standard and as it left the factory example, is finished in striking Misano red with contrasting full black leather interior. The paintwork is in lovely original condition, thanks to it clearly being regularly washed and polished. There are no nasty dents or scratches to be seen, and it consistently receives a lot of positive comments.
The interior is also in superb condition. There is no untoward wear to the leather seats and it all smells fresh with no evidence if it ever having been smoked in.
The car is fitted with –
• Electric front windows
• Power steering
• Electric mirrors
• Heated front seats
• Original and distinctive alloy wheels with excellent matching tyres
• Air conditioning
• Original Audi stereo & CD multichanger
• DSG (automatic) gearbox with steering wheel mounted paddle change
Everything works as it should; including the instrument cluster, which commonly suffers from missing pixels. The air conditioning is icy cold, and the heated seats work perfectly on all heat settings.
The personal registration plate is to be included with the car.
The car starts first time, every time with no smoke, and it does not use any fluids. There are no strange noises from the timing chains or any rough running.
On the road the car is faultless. To be honest, from the moment you turn the key and hear the distinctive sound from the glorious V6, you know you’re in for a treat. The car pulls strongly and smoothly through the gears, with gear changes hardly being felt. It still feels tight and precise, with no knocks, bangs, rattles or creaks. It really is an absolute pleasure and is one of those cars that you will find any excuse to just jump in and drive!
The car comes with a stamped service history, which I will outline below –

I have also had the timing chains checked via VCDS and they are within the recommended and accepted tolerances.
The M. O. T is valid until the 6th of May 2026 and the tax costs are £430 per year, or £37. 63 per month. Incidentally, I have taken the time to address the advisories on the last M. O. T by rubbing down the noted advisory points and treating them with a reputable converter/ inhibitor – and not a quick spray treatment!
The full logbook (V5) is present along with all of its owner’s manuals, 2 working remote keys, and the original Audi wallet.
Accident free and Hpi clear.
I am an honest guy and totally transparent, therefore here are the negatives that I am aware of.
1) The alloy wheels have some lacquer peel; therefore they could do with being refurbished.
2) There is some bubbling / corrosion to the front driver’s side wheel arch lip.
Apart from these points, that’s it. I am fussy, and many sellers would probably not have mentioned anything, but I prefer to be this way as to not cause any disappointment or inconvenience.
This is a lovely car inside and out. It has clearly been cherished and maintained to a high standard. A good Mk1 TT is starting to prove difficult to find these days, especially the 3. 2 V6 variant in this colour, and in standard, as it left the factory condition, such as this.
The car is all ready to jump in and enjoy and I would have no issue in driving this anywhere. I am also not aware that it needs any money spending on it, apart from what I have stated above if you want it to be perfect.
Part exchange considered.
Thank you.
