Description
TCT 560S was first registered 14th October 1977. Now 48 years old it is registered as a historic vehicle and is exempt from both road tax and MOT. The car only covered 121, 000 miles which is not a lot in 48 years. In that time it has been lovingly cared for and the large history file with over £19k of invoices shows that it has been well looked after. The folder also contains lots of service history and old MOT's back to 1989 and an original sales brochure. In recent years it has been fitted with an unleaded stage 2 cylinder head, K & N air filters and a Janspeed exhaust system. This gives a noticeable increase in performance and a wonderful noise. It has also had Halogen lamps, Kenlow fan, radiator, clutch, steering rack, alternator, water pump, electronic ignition, new fuel tank, fuel pump and a set of carpets. The car has been restored and resprayed and has been treated to a new hood. It has had a recent service with plugs, oil and filters. The car looks great sitting on a nice set of chrome Rostyle wheels that are shod in a good matching set of Uniroyal tyres. There is a hood tonneau and a full tonneau. The interior is in excellent order and features a very nice JVC stereo radio/ cd player with MP3. Inertia seat belts are fitted. The engine starts up easily and has very good oil pressure. The mildly tuned engine plus the 4 speed and overdrive gearbox propel the car along at a good rate with no untoward knocks, bangs or rattles. A great example of a late MGB at a sensible price.
