Very reluctantly forsale is my 2000 Audi S4 B5 Avant, 2. 7 V6 twin turbo. 193k, mot til Feb.
I've known this car for 20+ years as it's lived in my home town for that, and used to fly past me on my way to school each day and always made me want a S4, so naturally when I had the opportunity to buy it 2 decades later I jumped at it.
In the last 100 miles it's had fitted a new cambelt kit & waterpump, auxiliary belt, full service including spark plugs, both rocker cover gaskets, new expansion tank as the original one was all yellowed with age, and new coilpacks. I also replaced the front Bose speakers as these were blown.
Comes with a folder full of receipts service history etc.
Previous owner to me owned this car since 19/ 3/ 2005, kept it garaged each night and no expense was ever spared, and spent a fortune on it including:

Earlier in the year I relocated to mid Wales after being evicted so my landlords could turn it into HMO, and I now live half a mile up a steep rutted track on the hillside in a lovely farmhouse, but sadly I'm renting here meaning I can't do anything about the track, which to top it off is normally covered in sheep poo aswell, so I can't use or enjoy this car. Sadly there is nothing I can do about this, I couldn't find anywhere else to rent (and was lucky to even get here) as we all know there's a massive housing shortage. And I don't want to wreck this car trying to drive up or down it so it's just sat outside in my yard.
After putting it back on the road in Feb after 2 years in the garage, I discovered the clutch slips when the boost cuts in. So it's since been back off the road while I decided what to do with it.
Other issues:
Headlining has sagged abit.
Where it had a repaint, it's not perfect on the boot under the window.
The front bumper is loose on the corners, we discovered when doing the cambelt that the body shop who repaired the front end after a van reversed into it in a carpark had just bodged it back together, the bracket for headlight is bodged too.
Rear tyres are close to the limit.
A mate of mine said he thinks it's got an air leak somewhere but I'm buggered if we could find it, it can idle ever so slightly lumpy at times it's not misfiring or anything, I think it's either the map or it's got stale petrol, most of the time it's smooth as, there's definitely no misfire when you give it a bootfull up the road (til the clutch slips haha) as it goes like stink.
I just want to be completely honest about anything I'm aware of so that we don't waste each others time.
If this doesn't sell, I'll either break it for spares or park it in my barn and forget about it for now. The seats are worth £1k, wheels £1k, brakes £1k, engine with all turbos & ancillaries etc £4k, and so on. It would be a shame to see it broken, so I'd rather sell it whole to someone who will replace the clutch and enjoy it again. Ive had some clown offer me £2k for it before so he could buy it and break it
