Description
Early and rare 250 Ala D'oro from 1963. Works engine (no number) with 5-speed gearbox and wet clutch, Works frame (no provision for frame number welded on). Oldani brakes, Smith speedo. This beauty was part of an Italian collection near Varese for decades, shown on most of the Aermacchi meetings in Varese. Deceased collector acquired it from Varese racer family (not proved). Older restoration of paintwork but engine overhauled recently and not used yet, starts well. All bearings etc. changed, cylinder head refurbished with new seats, guides etc.. Comes with correct fairing.
