Description
This Mercedes-Benz 560 SEC (C126) underwent a complete, fully documented restoration between 2022 and 2025, carried out by a specialist classic-car workshop. The work included extensive body renewal, rust removal, structural repairs, a full underbody rebuild and a complete repaint including the engine bay. Many metal components were replaced with new or hand-fabricated parts, ensuring the car retains its original shape and longevity. The underbody was stripped, treated, sealed and protected to last for decades.

The car drives, brakes and handles exactly as expected from a freshly restored flagship Mercedes. All restoration work is documented with photos and detailed reports. No known repairs are currently required. The car is ready for immediate enjoyment and long-term preservation. The Mercedes 560 SEC is one of the most iconic flagship coupés ever produced by Mercedes-Benz — powerful, elegant and unmistakably timeless. I purchased this car with the intention of bringing it back to its former glory, and after a multi-year restoration, it stands today as one of the finest examples available on the market.
What makes this classic special is the combination of presence, craftsmanship and emotion. The long doors, pillarless windows and the smooth V8 create a unique atmosphere each time you sit behind the wheel. This car turns heads not because it demands attention, but because it deserves it.
My favourite thing about this SEC is how it feels after the restoration: stable, refined, quiet and strong — exactly as Mercedes intended when the 560 SEC represented the pinnacle of luxury engineering.
This is a car for someone who values authenticity, rarity and quality. A genuine collector’s piece that will continue to appreciate in value, and a timeless classic you can truly enjoy on the road, not just store in a garage.
