I am selling a 1984 Unimog 406 in the Kommunal (municipal) layout, equipped with disc brakes, 20-gear transmission, front power take-off, dual hydraulic circuit and a mechanical 6t HPC winch. The vehicle is in perfect mechanical condition and has largely undergone bodywork restoration, including the cab, interiors and the cargo bed, all electrical harnesses, and the seat upholstery. Headlights updated to Mercedes G style via a kit from a German supplier, added the front-wheel bearing oil recovery system, the anti-freeze distributor for the brake circuit and the reversing light. MPT80 tyres at 70%. Purchased over twenty years ago in perfect mechanical condition but in need of bodywork restorations, which I carried out in the best way by replacing with new parts everything that was necessary. I used it for personal pleasure as an off‑roader and now, at 60, I’m selling it because the bureaucratic formalities for it and for me have become too much. I hope someone else gets passionate about it and keeps it alive for a long time. It’s an unstoppable vehicle that gives great satisfaction and proves useful in a thousand ways.
