Description
This 2008 Corvette C6 ZO6 was professionally prepared for Dick Johnson (5 time Australian Touring Car Champion and 3 time Bathurst Winner) to race at the Targa Tasmania in 2011 in which he finished second in class.
The car has 5, 300 original miles and has had two owners. The current owner has had the vehicle in his collection since 2016 and it is in excellent condition and is race ready.
The car has the following features:
(a) 427ci Dry Sump V8 Race Engine (with renewed valve guides);
(b) primarily carbon fiber body panels;
(c) 6 Speed Gearbox;
(d) Full race exhaust;
(e) Full FIA roll cage;
(f) Cams/ FIA log book;
(g) Genuine Chev Performance Cam shafts - with serial numbers on cam heads;
(h) Genuine Chev Performance head - which was ported and polished and Chev performance valve guides;
(i) Complete with all the tarmac rally electronics, GPS, race data sender;
(j) Haltech dash board;
(k) New FIA seats and belts;
(l) New fire extinguisher;
(m) FIA kill switch and electrics (the electric aux race system is carbon fiber and all military spec from a Chev Performance supplier - and was a USD40, 000 cost);
(n) New Brakes;
(o) New Tyres;
(p) New slave and master cylinder for the clutch (all Tilton Nascar);
(q) New Starter motor;
(r) New alternator (large output as she runs two batteries); and
(s) Dyno Report.
The car was prepared for Targa Tasmania this year, but did not run to to time constraints of the owner.
The car is currently in 2017 Corvette Le Mans Livery (La Human) which is all paint (save for the number squares and sponsors).
