Description
I am selling my beautiful Moto Guzzi LeMans (MK1) in A1 condition. It was originally exported to South Africa from Mandello del Lario, Italy, in 1978. A copy of the original build certificate is included. I imported it to Germany a few years ago. It has only had one previous owner. The motorcycle is in perfect condition. It has a German registration including a TÜV (German Technical Inspection Authority). A test ride is possible.
I have always maintained the motorcycle with original parts. Only the contact breakers & coils have been replaced with Electronik Sachse laser pick-ups. All wear parts such as the throttle and clutch cables have been replaced, the brake lines have been replaced with steel braided lines, and the entire exhaust system has been rebuilt to match the original. A new lightweight flywheel with a diaphragm pressure clutch plate and disc has been replaced. All seals and brake cylinders have been replaced, including all oil and filters. New Koni rear shock absorbers. New Conti CRA 3 CR tires front and rear. The motorcycle is ready to ride. No work is required. Just enjoy the ride.
This Moto Guzzi Le Mans is in rare, good condition. It would be very difficult to find one in turnkey condition. The Bike is in perfect riding condition, it starts easily and idles. The last service cost close to 3000 Euro where it was given TLC by Ruediger in Kassel who raced Guzzis his entire career. I also have a repair manual and a Book compiled from every single MG LM MK1 magazine test ever.
