Original 2. 0 block bored out, running 93. 045mm Mahle flat top pistons, full wash, hone and paint at rebuild.
Injection con rods lightened.
Standard crank which has been lightened and balanced.
Flywheel, standard which has been lightened and balanced.
Cylinder head is Injection head with 42mm inlet and 38mm exhaust valves, at rebuild had 1. 3mm skimmed from face, new bronze valve guides and 3 angle cut on valve seats.
0. 030” MLS Cometic head gasket.
Camshaft unknown profile, not standard
Steel Adjustable Vernier camshaft pulley fitted that has been clocked to suit valve lift.
Large oil spray bar.
RS2000 LHD Aluminum sump with extra baffle and surge plates fitted.
13 Row Oil cooler with sandwich plate and thermostat. Mounted in front panel.
Standard thermostat housing with 78°C thermostat with extra holes drilled for extra flow at low temps.
Ford Electronic ignition, Hall Effect distributer with ignition module, 8 mm silicone HT leads, Electronic spec coil.
Bosch spark plugs.
4 core aluminum radiator with slim line 12” electric fan, controlled by temp switch in rad or over ridden by switch in car.
80amp alternator with RS2000 bracket.
Twin Weber 44 IDF (Italian) downdraft carburetors with slim air boxes fitted, fitted to a genuine Ford Group 1 inlet manifold, ports matched to head. Supplied by 12v electronic interrupter fuel pump via a fuel pressure regulator that is adjustable with fuel filter, both mounted near tank in boot. The fuel system has return line to tank. All fuel lines run internally.
Exhaust manifold is a Group 1, 4, 2, 1. downpipe with 2. 25” headers leading to a 2. 5” system. Ports matched to head. Headers wrapped in exhaust tape, gold heat reflecting mating applied to inner wing and bulkhead around exhaust area in engine bay to protect wiring and brake lines etc
Exhaust is 2. 5” Single box, over axle with right-hand exit, system by Rally Spares and competition parts (Squires Bros)
Hi-Torque starter motor fitted to right hand side under exhaust. Clubman Aluminum sump guard.
Gearbox and rear Axle
5 Speed type 9 with RS2000 aluminum bell housing fitted. Short 1st and 2nd gears.
Single piece prop shaft fitted, large flange.
English rear axle with RS2000 tramp bars(stiffened), Quaife ATB diff with 3. 89 CWP (rebuilt 200 miles ago) standard 22 spline half shafts.
Front RS2000 legs converted to coil over and wedged, 225 lbs 9” springs fitted with AVO adjustable dampers. Small hole roller bearing top mounts fitted, GRP4 fabrications strut brace, Heavy duty TCA’s, 22mm dia anti-roll bar with anti-dive, 2. 4 heavy duty quick rack, GRP4 long type steering knuckle and WCXM. Rear suspension is single leaf de-cambered 146 lbs springs with AVO adjustable dampers, with standard RS2000 tramp bars.
Front brakes are M16 calipers spaced to fit vented discs, with new 1144 Mintex pads, 2. 8i Capri grooved vented discs, braided brake lines. Calipers, discs and pads
Standard RS2000 front hubs and bearings.
Rear brakes are RS2000 9” drums with recent shoes and wheel cylinders summer 2020.
All braided brake lines running inside car, with a GRP4 Pedal box fitted with cable clutch and original rubber pedals and throttle pedal. Adjustable front and rear brake biased from adjuster on dash, also adjustable rear brake proportioning valve in car next to driver’s seat. Separate brake fluid reservoirs for front and rear brakes in engine bay.
Cable operated hand brake, recent new bushes for hand brake bar at rear axle.
Battery tray removed from engine bay and relocated to the boot. All power cables run inside of car with battery kill switch on center dash panel.
Washer bottle mounted in engine bay.
All engine bay stitch welded with boxes welded to bulkhead and gusset plates to hinge panel and radiator panel.
Brackets for strut brace welded.
Front Chassis legs have had metal sleeves welded in for the cross member with M10 10. 9 bolts fitted.
60 liter/ 12 gallon GRP4 fabrication baffled Aluminum fuel tank with sight tube, fuel filler neck and fuel tank platform fitted in boot.
Driver’s seat is a Large Corbuea Monaco fixed back bucket seat on side mount brackets fitted to welded in MSUK approved seat rails.
Navigators seat is a reclining hunt master bucket seat on rails so adjustable back and forth, bolted to the floor with plates.
Fire extinguisher fitted behind navigator’s seat, fully plumbed in with 2 nozzles in engine bay, 2 nozzles into cabin and one nozzle aimed at fuel pump and filter in the boot. Has pull cable for activation from outside car or inside.
Battery master switch mounted on center dash panel that can be operated from outside by pull cable.
