Description
Range Rover Classic 1994, 2. 5 TDI engine, with 270, 000 km. The vehicle was kept in a garage over the last few years, having covered very few miles in that period (likely). It was bought for weekend use, but ended up not being used due to family reasons. I’m now looking for another project—a seven-seater classic.
The car is in good overall condition, preserving the essence of the model. The bodywork shows slight wear for a vehicle of this age, with no significant structural damage. The interior retains the original components, with proper functioning of the essential controls.
The climate control is operational (air conditioning working), the central locking works, power windows... A new alternator and battery were also installed, eliminating potential electrical problems for the coming years. Some hard-to-find (and expensive) parts were also acquired, such as the rear window rubber that seals against the lower door. The door window scrapers are in excellent condition, among other details.
Mechanically, the 2. 5 TDI engine is healthy: easy cold starts and steady operation. The permanent four-wheel drive and the gearbox/ drive train maintain the predictable, robust behaviour characteristic of this model.
A recent historic-vehicle certification has been successfully completed: the vehicle has been officially certified as a classic, which entitles exemption from IUC (car tax) and periodic inspections. I have all the documentation relating to this certification that validates the originality of the assembly and its status as a historic-interest car.
It has strong potential to appreciate in the classic car market, especially due to the growing demand for these models in honest, well-preserved condition.
The price reflects the real condition of the vehicle, the certification and the work that has been carried out over the years despite its rare use. Vehicle ready to drive and enjoy without immediate interventions. It will not require investment in a restoration to guarantee future appreciation.
I bought this Range Rover Classic because it represents the purest of what the brand has to offer: mechanical robustness, functional simplicity, and timeless presence. It is not just an old 4x4; it is the start of a lineage that changed the luxury utility market. Seeing it parked conveys the same sense of solidity you feel when driving it.
The car stands out for its authenticity. It is honest, preserves the original spirit and drives as a classic should drive: low-end torque, elevated driving position and a real mechanical feel, unfiltered.
What I like most about this model is the relaxed yet comfortable driving experience. It doesn’t rush you, it doesn’t need to prove anything. You get in, start the engine and it does the rest. It has an elegance that doesn’t depend on technology or gadgets, only solid engineering and a design that has stood the test of time.
Anyone who ends up with this Classic will appreciate it precisely for that: a car with soul, with history and the kind of character that modern vehicles can no longer replicate.
