BENELLI 172 CORSA 1930
For sale - vintage Benelli motorcycle 175 with a single-overhead camshaft running a gear-train cascade, specification identical to the model used by Tonino Benelli in competition up to 1930. Chassis with 21-inch wheels, rear with an aluminium aerodynamic shield, enlarged brake drums, slim mudguards. Fork with side strengthening tabs. Handlebar lowered by 25 mm, quick-opening petrol and oil caps.
Engine with single-overhead cam and a cascaded gear distribution with double needle springs. Engine completely rebuilt with replacement of the crankshaft bearings, new domed piston with 62. 50 mm bore, lightened flywheel, new Dell’Orto 22 mm carburettor (stock), lubrication system with an oil radiator and flexible anti-break hose, single-grade Motul SAE 50 mineral oil.
Pastel racing red paintwork, tank stripes in gold colour, polished chromed parts. Front and side number plates in aluminium. New tyres 2. 50-21. Only a running-in is required.
