For sale: a vintage Benelli motorcycle 175 with a single-overhead cam engine in a gear-driven 'cascade of gears' arrangement, specification identical to the model used by Tonino Benelli in racing up to 1930. Chassis with 21-inch wheels, rear end with aluminum aerodynamic shielding, enlarged brake drums, slim fenders. Fork with lateral reinforcement tabs. 25 mm dropped handlebars, quick-release caps for petrol and oil tanks.
Overhead-cam engine with a gear-driven timing cascade and twin needle springs. Engine fully rebuilt with replacement of main shaft bearings, a new domed piston with a bore of 62. 50 mm, lightened flywheel, new 22 mm Dell'Orto carburettor (stock), lubrication system with oil radiator and anti-snapping flexible hose, single-grade mineral Motul SAE 50 oil.
Pastel racing red paint, billet gold-coloured tank stripes, polished chrome parts. Front and side number plates in aluminium. 2. 50-21 tyres are new. It just needs run-in.
