Purchased as a project in 2024, this Renault 19 16v has been sympathetically refreshed, with selected paintwork professionally restored to return the car to its former glory.
During its recommissioning, the car also received essential maintenance including a new cambelt, water pump, and full service, making it an excellent example ready for enjoyment.
The Renault 19 16v was a standout hot hatch of the 1990s, powered by a 1. 8-litre 142hp engine shared with the Clio 16v. Praised for its exceptional handling balance and ride quality, it famously won What Car? Hot Hatch of the Year in 1990 and remains a deeply underrated performance classic today.
We originally had no plans to part with it, but if the right offer comes along, we’re willing to find a new home where it will be appreciated and driven.
