Facelift in nice condition for mileage, selling as need some cash for my garage build (would keep otherwise). It is a CAT N sadly, for a dented door and damaged rear bumper in 2024 (now replaced) – without this I’d be asking at least £5k for it. Drives great, everything works as should. Has matching Hankook Evos all round with good tread, no smoke and gearbox seems healthy. It’s obviously a 21 year old car, paint isn’t bad but usual stone chips & odd little ding. Interior again has age related marks, but nothing serious. Body is straight, arches are clean and underside is solid (rear of sills have been welded previously, but still totally solid).
Recent parts and servicing;
- New radiator with fresh Honda Type 2 coolant
- New brake pads all round
- New front lower arms
- New front drop links
- New front lower joints
- New front frame lateral brace bar
- Fresh engine service (oil and filters)
- Fresh transmission oil (proper Honda stuff)
- Fresh brake and clutch fluid
- New rear silencer
- Underbody and inside sills rust proofed using Dinitrol after cleaning and rust treatment
- Swapped the rear seat out for an SE spec one as the old one had a hole and 3 seats belts was handy for the kids.
Also has a few mods that I’d say gently enhance the car rather than make it unbearable on the road;
- Vibra Technics engine mounts
- Adjustable rear camber links
- 4-2-1 Stainless exhaust manifold and decat (comes with a Cat as well)
- Groved front discs (little noisy when hot so you might want to swap these out)
Overall a nice honest car that shouldn’t need anything but fuel in the short term.
