Here I have my 1983 Mercedes-Benz 280SL (R107), it has a very reliable 2. 8L naturally aspirated inline 6 petrol engine equiped with a 5 speed manual gearbox which arent very common in these cars nowadays and has only covered 93k miles from new.
The car is sitting on its original alloys which are in very good condition for their age as well as all the tyres being close to new, to the car I have attatched the original Mercedes-Bens hardtop (I have not had the chance to paint match it to the car so its currently in metalic green). The soft top is also fully operational, in good condition and watertight, it is finished in blue and also matches the full blue leather interior which continues to the boot that is lined in its original blue carpet and holds the spare wheel, jack and original tool kit. The silver exterior matched with the blue leather is one of the rarest combinations of the 280SL.
The car has been in my ownership for over six years now and has been dry stored in my garage since the purchase, it has rarely been taken out on drives but has reguarly been going to the MOT centre and back each year with no issue, with the car comes with a very detailed full service history dating back to the original owner.
Please keep in mind the car is 40 years old now and it would take very little to restore it to its perfect condition, the underside is in very good shape, the rear arches are in very good condition as are the sills for the age of the car.
