Description
Sat dreading Christmas day when yet again the family buy you another box of Lego as they know you love to build stuff … sat looking at shelves and shelves of built models ... fun when you get to make them but when finished just another piece of plastic to dust.
But what if this year was different … what if when you finished assembling you had something with a purpose, something usable and cool … a life size fully operational car!
This Christmas make a step change and say no to crappy Lego and yes to a Renault 12 Break Sinpar 4x4 (Kit)!
I guess this must be classed as a project as it is not a turnkey car but all the big items are ticked … presenting an immaculate body and paint this Renault 12 is likely the last surviving Sinpar (4x4) model left in RHD.
MOT and TAX Exempt
So, what is a Sinpar? Sinpar was a company who carried out in period 4x4 conversions of amongst others Renault 4, 6 and 12 … making this R12 a rare and desirable thing most uncommon in RHD flavour.
The car was running and driving prior to start of restoration … the 1289cc engine offering a very usable car in today’s modern traffic. As part of the recommissioning process a refresh of this in terms of ignition parts and a standard service would be recommended.
The interior as shown in the imagery is in kit form and will require a detail orientated diligent individual to want to spend a winter of evenings and weekends reassembling.
An opportunity to truly own something unique and usable that you will not see another 10 of at every car gathering… maybe put to work towing another classic or even a point-to-point classic rally.
I am not going to hard sell this car I am simply presenting an opportunity for ownership … any prospective buyer will be provided an inspection torch and kneeling mat on arrival … maybe a coffee.
Nationwide delivery at cost can be organised and I would consider part exchanges of interest.
The price reflects the work that has been invested in this car as well as just how cool it is … I am happy to discuss price based on factual information not opinion.
Car can be viewed in NE40.
