Finished in 147 Arctic White with Blue Cloth interior, this 1993 200E is in excellent condition throughout and looks lovely and fresh on its recently refurbished 15 hole alloys.
The bodywork is in excellent overall condition, with no paint mis match, rust showing or any marks more serious than the odd stone chip.
In addition to the refurbished wheels, I have recently fitted 4x new Kumho all season tyres, has the sill covers and Sacco panels removed in order to inspect for any corrosion and protect for the future. All four jacking points, sills, sub frame mounts and wheel arches are in perfect order and have been fully treated.
Inside is the highlight of this car for me. The interior is super fresh, no wear to the seat cloth or armrest and no fading of the blue colour or orange dash needles. I would assume the car has spent most of its life garaged. On the road, everything is fine. As you would expect, a 200E is no drag race winner but is happy to cruise at 70mph and keeps up with modern traffic easily. The transmission is smooth, kickdown works as it should and the breaks and steering are reassuringly W124!
The car is fairly basic, front electric windows, sunroof and ABS are about your lot but I have added a new Blaupunkt Madrid Bluetooth radio which makes listening to music and taking calls on the move really easy.
The car has just received a major service and check over in addition to the other work I have outlined above and comes with 12 months MOT. The folder indicates a good amount of service history a maintenance throughout the car’s life an it has 4 previous owners. It is a really smart, rust free W124 in great colours and driving especially well. It really has the feeling of a looked after and un abused example. It will make a great daily driver or possibly family friendly classic for weekend outings and some shows!
