I am selling 4 tins in perfect condition. Only two owners in 50 years of life. Very well cared for and running perfectly. MOT valid until September 2026.
In its years of life all kinds of work have been carried out to address the wear and tear from time, all replaced parts are original, including the original Renault paint (of which I still keep a little for small scratches that may occur). Among other actions the following improvements have been made:
MECHANICS: carburettor, gearbox, alternator, wiper motor windings, fuel filter, carburettor priming knob, battery cut-off switch, windscreen washer bag, exhaust pipe, engine temperature gauge. As well as regular maintenance of oil, air filter, battery, brake fluid and tyres.
EXTERIOR, BODYWORK AND PAINT: Application of fibreglass on all undersides of the vehicle. Exterior paint on the entire bodywork (original RENAULT 4 S). Galvanised bumpers and wheel trims. Rubber seals. Windows in the rear seats.
INTERIOR: Fitting of original upholstery on all seats. Installation of a beige micro-perforated headlining, including sun visors. Leather cover for the radio.
The vehicle belonged to a relative of mine and I have been restoring it little by little as a hobby. I’m selling it because I no longer use it and with young children it’s impossible for me to find the time.
