For sale is my 1993 Toyota Corolla E10 Automatic Coupe, a model that is becoming increasingly rare in the UK, with many having been exported abroad.
I’ve owned this car for over 3 years, and it has covered just 70, 000 miles. I can honestly say this is the most reliable car I’ve owned in over 40 years of driving. In the last three years it has never broken down — it has been dependable.
The automatic gearbox is smooth, and mechanically the car does exactly what a Toyota of this era is known for: it just works.
Honest condition notes:
• Paintwork is not good – the lacquer has peeled on the bonnet and roof
• Rear wiper has been removed, but the motor works (bolts misplaced)
• One rear light cluster has a small pinhole but did not affect the MOT
• Mechanically very strong despite cosmetic issues
The sale is only because I love these cars so much that I’ve bought another Corolla, this time a 5-door, which better suits my needs. This one does not need to be sold.
