The Appeal

The W123 Coupé (or C123, as it's more accurately known), continues to be praised as a pillarless work of art. The simple, clean two-door silhouette and shapely proportions make for a deeply elegant car, with robust engineering and executive comfort underpinning a deeply capable machine that could run and run with little trouble.

This 1977 example is finished in blue metallic with a matching blue MB-Tex and fabric interior. The dashboard and carpets are reported to be in good order, and a service was carried out in 2024 covering fluids, filters, and checks to the braking system and suspension. Re-registered in Italy in 2022 following a transfer from abroad, it holds regular Italian documents and ASI certification confirming its 1977 build date. It's accompanied by a Revisione until November 2026 and is, by all accounts, ready to drive away.
