Description
An opportunity for someone to get their hands on a fabulous Pembleton SuperSport / V-Sport, built by Phil Gregory and his son Guy - the 2nd one ever built as a turnkey on Pembleton's production line.
It's a wonderful piece of automotive art - an amazing mix of vintage aesthetics and modern engineering.
This car features leather seats, a wooden steering wheel, an anodised dashboard with brass bevelled dials, LED lights all-round, Brookland's racing windshields, real leather bonnet straps, and a rear luggage rack for what you can't fit in the ample space behind the seat. There is no power steering or ABS or driver's aids of any description. It is for the purist! What you do get is a wonderful raucous burble from the fuel-injected V-twin and just the right amount of feedback through the steering to make motoring joyously visceral. This vehicle is beautifully designed, mechanically simple, and economical to run. It's fantastic to drive. And it makes everyone else smile too. I've toured it in Europe (mostly France & Spain) with my partner and it has performed excellently. It has only 22, 000 miles on the clock. It has relatively new tyres and is ready for more adventures. You'd be mad not to.
This lightweight front-wheel drive sports car is built by hand, in small numbers, to an exceptional standard, with aviation and nautical-grade aluminium, which is tensioned and bonded to a lightweight steel spaceframe, to form a semi-monocoque body. It has all-round horizontally mounted adjustable suspension, inboard discs at the front, and a single swing arm and drum brake on the rear. It's powered by a torquey Moto Guzzi v750 V-twin air-cooled engine up front. It has a 4-speed gearbox plus reverse, and weighs less than 300kg.
I can honestly say that this is the best machine I have ever owned. And I have owned many. The only reason I am selling this Pembleton is that I've ordered a new one and I knew when I placed the order that I would eventually have to let this beauty go. I bought it privately in October 2024, there have been 6 owners before me. It is fully-serviced, and MOT'd until 29th July 2026. It has been involved in two minor accidents, (neither of which were my fault!) with repairs made by the Pembleton Motor Company. The vehicle is in excellent condition.
