1993 VOLKSWAGEN POLO 1. 0 BOULEVARD MK 2F
85, 370 miles with full service history up to 83, 520. An MOT was done in
November 25 and the minor fail work was carried out and there are no
advisories. The timing belt was last changed by Marshall Volvo at 79, 026
miles, this was in 2006 but it has been checked and is showing no signs of
deterioration. 4 new tyres..
Mechanically the car is also very sound. A new battery was fitted in
November prior to the MOT and it starts first time and runs with no
hesitation. The clutch is good, ‘biting’ in the middle of release with no
slipping or juddering. There are no gearbox noises and the car all runs very
smoothly.
General condition is very high particularly for the age of the car with very few
signs of wear on the outer bodywork with no signs of previous panel damage
or re spraying. All 4 wheel arches are solid with no rusting or bubbling. The
engine bay is also very good with no major rust or corrosion. There is general
stone chipping on the lower sills and drivers door with minor surface rusting.

The car comes with all the original books and VW book pack..
I have the V5 registration document and the car is currently on SORN.
I purchased this Polo in 1997 from the local Volvo dealer in Grantham,
having had only one previous owner. I put a private plate on it and used it
until 1999 before giving it to my mother and it was registered to her. She
continued to use it until 2014 but covering less than 2000 miles from 2010
due to ill health after which time she was unable to drive and it was kept in
her garage until recently when she sadly passed away and I acquired the car
back myself. The private plate has now been transferred and the car
registered back into my name. So the V5 is showing 3 previous keepers (my
mother, me and the first owner). I currently only have one key but am hoping to find the spare at my mum’s house as it’s cleared and I’ll pass this on.
