1947 Willys CJ-2A – Exceptionally Original, Museum-Quality Example with
its original factory paint and presented in truly exceptional condition.
This Jeep was stored for approximately 25 years prior to my ownership and has since been carefully recommissioned and rebuilt with great respect for originality. The result is a vehicle that can only be described as museum condition.
There is minor historic rust limited to a small area below the spare wheel and a tiny hole beneath the fuel tank. Both areas have been properly treated, with no further issues. The body and chassis present extremely well overall, especially considering the vehicle’s age and originality.
A rare opportunity to acquire an honest, unmolested CJ-2A with this level of originality, history, and presentation. Ideal for collectors, museums, or serious Willys enthusiasts.
The colour is the original Luton red that's never been re painted from new. The windscreen fram has side arms that are not original. This was fitted by the original owner.
Number 4 exhaust out let has a small crack on the outside that sometimes weeps while standing. The original trico vacume windscreen motor needs to be refurbished.
