Back in the 1990's when the hot hatch era was booming this car was built by Peugeot in conjunction with the Quicksilver clothing brand to appeal to the younger market that could not insure a 106 GTi. It had a 1. 4 engine, not the 1. 6 that the GTi had so making it cheaper to insure. The 106 Quicksilver come with the electric windows, remote central locking, alloy wheels, slide and tilt sunroof and power steering. It also had its own unique Quicksilver branded seats. The 106 Quicksilver also boasted a GTi body kit and only come in metallic Silver for obvious reasons. This 106 is totally original with no scuff on the alloys.
This Peugeot 106 Quicksilver had a lady owner up to 2020, and there have been 2 registered keepers since then. The car has only covered 39, 798 miles with an MOT until Dec 2026. The car has been in dry storage with a collector since 2021. The history file contains a couple of MOT certificates, a few maintenance receipts and 2 service books showing an impressive 15 stamps up to 34, 273 miles in 2020. That service included a new cambelt and coolant pump. Every single stamp has been from the same Peugeot dealer in Berkshire.
