Here is my 1982 Mini.
It has undergone a full restoration by me and my Dad. Engine and gearbox has been rebuilt, I have loads of photos of the restoration phase that can be shown if necessary.
Basically everything from behind the drivers door towards the back has been replaced as it would not pass an MOT otherwise. Loads of time and money has been spent on this with invoices and photos to prove.
Has had new carpet and the interior all looks really good.
I’ve owned the car for around 5years, 4 of those years it has been off the road being restored, I only got it on the road around June 2025 and haven’t used it much. It has been stored in a dry workshop for most of that time.
The boot floor has all be replaced as would not pass a MOT without it being done.
Passed MOT in June 2025.
Overall it’s a very sound car in great condition and would make a great 1st classic car for someone, or just a fun weekend car.
As far as what needs doing:
- The door fitment isn’t the best
- The roof could do with a good mop and polish
- The interior door handles need putting on
The car also comes with the original front and rear seats.
Apart from those minor bits it’s a really fun little car, will be sad to see it go.
It’s a project that’s 99% complete, just a couple minor bits that have been listed.
Not desperate to sell it, just fancy something a bit quicker. Would potentially do a part exchange or a swap for something, feel free to send any offers over.
