Second series bike for sale.
Bought privately as a non-runner in Jan 2022. I have gone through the engine to have the correct specification regarding the gearing and camshaft. I also fitted a brand-new cylinder head with new . 5 camshaft, valve springs and refurbished rockers. Worn gearbox parts were replaced as necessary. Nigel Lacey fitted a Samarin rod.
The electrics are 12V with an Electrex ignition unit.
Carburation is now Mikuni (original Amal included).
The fuel tank is aluminium.
Good tyres (Pirelli City Demons) and rebuilt wheels with stainless spokes by Hagon Products.
New fork springs.
New rear shock absorbers.
Selling because I need the room and funds for another project. I registered this bike as a Historic vehicle.
V5C in my name.
Under appreciated bike. I prefer this to a 250 Desmo that I had.
Handles really well.
