Sadly For Sale is this 1988 Mazda 323 GLX EXECUTIVE.
This car is in time-warp condition with the odometer showing 13, 900 miles only, and I believe it to be the top specification of BF Mazda 323 available. According to how many left there's only 2 of this spec taxed for use on the roads today.
The underside is near on immaculate- it has never been undersealed and is still as bright blue in the wheel arches as it is on top, with various suspension components still wearing their original stickers and chalk markings from the factory. There's no rust to speak of
Being a GLX EXECUTIVE, the car benefits from 4 electric windows, electric tilt & slide sunroof, power steering, central locking, ignition and door lock key lights, plush door cards, 5 speed gearbox etc. Being Japanese everything works as it should.
Recently had 5 brand new budget brand tyres as the originals were very perished and unsafe for road use.
The bonnet has been resprayed previously and the match isn't perfect so it would benefit from being done again. Unsure why it was painted as there is no sign of any accident damage.
It would not take much to make this car perfect and infact it would be a good candidate to potentially turn into a concourse restoration with minimal work, but please bare in mind that this car is nearly 40 years old so there is a few marks here and there but nothing worth noting. It really has to be seen to be appreciated.
Unfortunately, I have not got a great deal of history with the car, although I would assume it has been lost through a house clearance as I would think that this car belonged to an elderly person previously.
I will be sad to part with this car but I feel it must be done to preserve it. I have the V5 here and a full receipt can be given upon sale - also happy to take any specific images or do a video tour if required as I appreciate I am most likely the other end of the country to anybody who may be interested.
I am looking for around £4, 995 ono, but I'm open to part/ exchange and swaps - pre 2000 only unless its something really special.
