Description
Sadly the time has come to move my beloved 2002tii on to a new home. We're looking at relocating internationally and while I would like to take the car, it makes more sense to find her a new home locally. It is a great car and we've had plenty of enjoyable memories with it. Some extensive under body work carried out in 2017, then an engine refresh in 2020 means it is a solid wee car. The mechanical fuel injection pump (which sets these apart from carburettor models) was rebuilt by Lucas Engineering in England at the same time. Drives and runs very well. Down side is most of the panels will need some rust attention in the coming few years, but due to the underbody structural work carried out it is solid underneath. Drive it as is now, tidy up later, that was my plan. The interior is usable but could have a tidy. I've owned it since 2009. I have quite a few spares, including 4 original steel wheels. Spares collection to be negotiated with serious buyer. Originally delivered to a dentist in Belfast, it's ownership history before coming to me is spotty. A gentleman in NI carried out some body work in the late 90s, I bought it from a young man in Dublin in 2009. I believe there may be a record in the DVLA database of a minor ding in the 90s which made it uneconomical to repair, given these were cheap back then. Either way, these 2002tii cars are getting harder to come by. I believe my car is realistically priced for it's condition. Tidier cars go for much higher. Grab a piece of history at a bargain price while you can. I know I'm going to regret selling it! If you're serious, let's talk..... no dreamers or lowballers please
